Time to say something again about how to build your Twitter presence. If you are building your Twitter profile and looking for followers, if you follow someone and expect them to follow you back here are six Twitter tips to help you get followers:
1. Have more than one post on your Twitter when you have 5000 followers and are following 5000 people. I want to see what you discuss. This many followers and one post says you have nothing to say and do not communicate with your followers
2. If you have more than one post, make sure they are all not the same post. That just screams Spam!
3. Make sure your posts are not filled with words and phrases like; Get Rich, Earn Money, Free Software. That just screams Spam!
4. Have a profile description. I want to know a little about who you are. See tip number three, don’t fill it with these words and phrases.
5. Include a link to your website. No website, no follow. It can be nothing more than a link to your Facebook profile.
6. Include a profile picture. No picture no follow. A custom background is not important to me, but I want to see you at least took the time to upload a profile picture. Use the same picture from your Facebook profile.
