Real Record Labels or Fake Music Labels? Due Diligence & Fact Checking

War Stories from the Music FrontReal Record Labels or Fake Music Labels? Due Diligence & Fact Checking. Episode 4 of War Stories from the Music Front with Michael Brandvold and Loren Weisman.

Episode 4 of war stories asks the questions and shares the war stories of those that thought they were signing with real record labels only to find themselves in worlds of trouble with a fake situation and under contract to pay people for doing next to anything.

Fake music labels are everywhere and in abundance. To find the real record labels if that is the route you are even considering, you have to do your fact checking and due diligence to find out exactly who you are dealing with, what kind of deal they are going to give you and how money will be dealt in to the deal.

When it comes to music industry financing, whether you are looking for managers, agents, real record labels or just the financial support, it is key to avoid becoming a war story by watching out for the music business scams that are out there.

War Stories from the Music Front with Michael Brandvold and Loren Weisman is a video music business and marketing series that goes to war with the worst case scenarios and front line disasters in a humorous and informative way to help artists, managers and labels from making the same mistakes down the road.
